The Center for Interdisciplinary Research on AIDS (CIRA) at Yale University will host a virtual symposium focused on HIV/AIDS, mental health and substance use in humanitarian settings on Monday, April 4, 2022 at 9:00 am-12:00 pm ET. The goals of this symposium are to 1) present current research, 2) identify gaps in knowledge, practice, and research, and 3) facilitate multidisciplinary discussion of evidence-based tools and resources and collaborative opportunities.
Panelists will include the National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) and Fogarty International Center (FIC) program officers, academic researchers, health care and service providers, and community members. The intended audience is academic and community researchers, health professionals, advocates, and community members interested in this topic. This event is open to the public.
Please submit your questions for the panel in advance using the field below. There will also be opportunities for live discussion and Q&A at the symposium.
