Jude Alawa is from Miami, Florida by way of Damascus, Syria, and is interested in the intersection of medicine and international affairs, especially in conflict and post-conflict zones. Alawa recognizes the potential for targeted humanitarian interventions, and he hopes to study and craft effective measures to increase access to health care and medical technology in marginalized communities.
