State Fragility and Collapse in the Arab Region

Ezzedine C. Fishere, Egyptian Writer; Visiting Professor at Dartmouth College, “State Fragility and Collapse in the Arab Region.” 

Fishere will be presenting about the security mayhem in the Arab region, and how current and latent security threats are the consequence of state fragility, failure and collapse in the region.

About the speaker: 
Fishere was a Political Science professor at the American University in Cairo, where he taught courses in International Relations, Foreign Policy, Arab-American Relations, and Arab-Israeli Conflict. Besides tens of articles in Egyptian and international publications, Fishere has published seven novels, two of which were nominated for the Arabic Booker Prize (2008 and 2011).
